We are not from New Jersey but have been vacationing for the past 25 years on Long Beach Island and decided to purchase a vacation home. We were introduced to Ed through friends who had a good experience with him, and after meeting him, my wife and I felt that we would as well. During our introductory meeting, we provided Ed our wish list and shortly thereafter, Ed produced the winner. He took the time from his schedule to visit the house on our behalf and video chatted with us to provide a virtual walk through. We were sold! That is where the fun and games ended, and we saw firsthand how a broker worked on our behalf. The contract process ran into some legal entanglements to the point that we were going to lose the deal. If Ed had not stepped in and spoken with our attorney, the seller’s attorney, and ultimately wrote a letter to the seller explaining our situation the deal would have died. It was Ed’s foresight and negotiating experience that ultimately brought the parties together to get the deal completed. The process as you can imagine was not smooth, but if it were not for Ed’s heroics and attention to us as a client, we would have lost the deal. My wife and I completely believe that if Ed were not our broker, we would not be residents of Surf City today. Ed took the time to listen and understand our requirements, did not waste our time by showing us properties he knew wouldn’t be right, and held our hand the entire time.
