Barbara Kerrigan commenced employment in the real estate industry subsequent to a 30+ year career in government public service at the county, state, and federal levels. Specifically, Barbara spent the past 25 years as a Federal Probation Officer for the United States District Court. In this capacity, Barbara monitored individuals convicted of federal offenses, and assisted them with moving forward with their lives and with their re-integration into the community following a term of imprisonment. Barbara has also worked with the State of Pennsylvania Office of Drug and Alcohol Programs, as well as County Case Management, coordinating services for children and adolescents with mental health needs. In Retirement, Barbara remains committed to serving the public, now in the capacity as a real estate professional. During the past 20 years, Barbara bought and sold several properties. In addition to refurbishing existing homes, Barbara built two homes, one of which was her own floor plan design provided to the builder and architect. Working for and learning under Real Estate Expert Ed Haines, Barbara is driven to assist sellers obtain the highest possible price for their properties in the shortest amount of time, and her years of professional experience will prove invaluable to helping buyers find the perfect property to meet their needs.Barbara is a native of Pennsylvania. She obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from West Chester University, and a Master of Science Degree in Human Organization Science from Villanova University. Barbara relocated to New Jersey in 1994, upon commencing employment with the U.S. Probation Office - Eastern District of New York. She transferred to the District of New Jersey in 1998, making southern New Jersey her permanent home. Barbara is thrilled to be part of the Haines Realty team! She has a passion for this new career in real estate, and she looks forward to working with buyers and sellers to accomplish their goals!
